Why A-frame for glamping
The triangular silhouette stands out instantly in searches and photos on booking platforms, and the high-ceilinged interior with a glazed gable gives guests an experience different from standard accommodation. For a glamping project that means visibility exactly where the booking decision is made. Occupancy is not delivered by the silhouette, though: location, access, the view, the quality of the interior, the nightly rate and the management weigh more.
For you as the owner, the other half matters: the SIP panels are cut in the factory to the design, the structure goes up in 1–2 weeks, the turnkey cabin is ready in at most 6 months, and the price is fixed after the consultation and not recalculated. We choose the foundation for the plot and its geotechnical study, sloped or wooded plots included.

Indicative “from” prices. The shell includes the foundation, its type chosen for the plot; windows and exterior doors are an option on the shell and already included in turnkey. The plot and utility connections are budgeted separately; we agree delivery from Baia Mare together with the design, and then it is part of the final price in the offer.

From plot to first guests

The plot and its urban planning certificate: before buying or designing, check what the plot allows — we do it for free from your details.

Consultation and fixed price: we choose the designs, discuss the guest fit-out and fix the price for the whole job.

The permit, in parallel with production: the file usually takes 3–6 months; while it is with the authorities, the factory makes the kit, about 6 weeks from the deposit.

Permit or notification
A cabin on a foundation is a new building whatever its size — the “15 m² without paperwork” threshold is a myth. Since 25 August 2026 the new Code also allows campsites of light construction for up to 20 people, with access to utilities, on a notification; whether your project fits is for the town hall to decide. A campsite, though, is a temporary construction with a limited lifetime, so for permanent cabins on foundations the permit is the safer road. The 150 m² house-on-a-notification route is only for a family home, not for rental cabins. The permit project can be prepared by us at €15/m² including VAT, or by your own architect; the steps and documents are in the permit guide.

How much does it cost to open a glamping site with A-frame cabins?
The cabin itself: a shell on its foundation from €400/m² or turnkey from €900/m². The smallest A-frame in the catalogue, 45.8 m², starts from €18,000 as a shell on its foundation (windows as an option, from €1,300) and from €41,000 turnkey. Separately: the plot, utility connections and the guest fit-out; delivery, agreed together with the design, is part of the final price in the offer.
Can I start with one cabin and add more?
Yes. Catalogue designs are produced at the same factory on the same timelines, so the second and third cabin are added with the same design and documentation. The most prudent strategy is to start with one and expand after the first season.
Do I need a permit for glamping cabins?
As a rule, yes, as for any new building with a foundation, whatever its area. Romania's new Urbanism Code, in force since 25 August 2026, also has a few notification routes, and which one applies to your plot is checked with the town hall. Plan 3–6 months from plot to permit; the permit project is separate: we can prepare it at €15/m² including VAT, or your architect can.
